The latest Air Blitz Feeder is a development of the earlier models, featuring a more durable low-speed fan in place of the high-speed multi-stage bower used on the original design. The feeder can deliver approximately 25kg/min of feed and cover a range up to 15m using an 8mm pellet. Smaller pellets tend to go less far because of their much smaller mass, but will nevertheless feed acceptably well for the relatively short space of time they are used.

The Air Blitz Feeder features an all-in-one fabricated aluminium body, with the 50kg hopper built in and our new feed valve at the outlet. The valve is cut away, so that as it opens, a progressively greater flow of feed passes through, without the slight inconsistency of the older models.

The engine and fan are mounted back-to-back on a stainless steel baseplate cushion mounted onto the feeder body, to isolate vibration. Adjustment of the fan drive belt couldn't be easier, simply adjust the four fan mounting screws and away you go.

As with our other small boat feeders, the Air Blitz is available with either a 5.5hp Honda petrol or a 6hp Lombardini diesel engine. A simple flywheel clutch on the crankshaft makes starting the motor easy, just set the throttle and pull the recoil starter, warm it up for a short while and away you go.
